I decided to produce an independent commentary for Belvidere under the pseudonym of Silence Dogood. Silence Dogood was just one of the pseudonyms used by Benjamin Franklin. I feel comfortable publishing anonymously and being able to exercise my first amendment right. In fact others who have enjoyed this right, along with Franklin, were Paine, Hamilton, and Madison to name a few.
I represent no party; I will provide the citizens of Belvidere a fair politics blog commenting on the future of our community and help educate those who are interested in making a difference.
